Fernando Aragon
Background
Fernando Aragon has been a veteran of the music business for decades. Over the years he has contributed his unique guitar playing talents and eclectic tastes to the music of:
CBS Recording artist and original member of Santana Michael Carrabello
- Motown's Rose Banks of Sly and the Family Stone
- Many others including The Drifters, Costers, Shirelles, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, Bobby Day, Al Wilson and The Hideaways.
In the early 1980's, Fernando left performing professionally to concentrate his efforts on the study of his craft. Desiring to expand on his ability to express himself musically, Fernando studied various techniques of music such as classical, flamenco, bluegrass and jazz, developing an expertise for these diverse modes.
Goals
Fernando's objectives for his projects are to create music that incorporates a confluence of styles and emotive character that will delight all listeners.
Through his years of study and performance, Fernando aims to reach a global market. Music that can be easily categorized limits the artist to a narrow audience. Fernando masterfully conquers this all too common problem by composing music that is fresh and innovative, thus creating a mellifluent sound of universal appeal. |
